CONCEPT

Overall Feel

This sitting room was designed to feel like a peaceful retreat with elevated warmth. Every element was chosen to strike a balance between calm and character. The soft textures, natural materials, and thoughtful details create a space that welcomes you in and invites you to unwind.

Color Story

The palette centers around creamy neutrals, deep browns, and rich greens. These colors work together to ground the space while still feeling light and breathable. The green armchairs add a pop of sophistication, and the earthy rug and pillows anchor the space without making it feel heavy.

Furniture Layout

Seating is arranged to encourage conversation while keeping an open, airy flow. The sculptural coffee table and rounded chairs break up the lines and keep the space from feeling too boxy. Each piece supports the other visually, helping the room feel cohesive and well-balanced.

Ceiling Moment

A major design feature is the abstract ceiling treatment paired with the sculptural light fixture. This unexpected detail draws the eye upward and adds a layer of texture and movement to the space without overwhelming it.

Textures & Materials

There’s a thoughtful mix of materials: the softness of the drapery and the curved sofa is balanced with the rustic feel of the burlwood-style console and the dark stone coffee table. Natural materials are key here. Everything feels tactile and intentional.

Lighting

Layered lighting helps set the mood: the sculptural ceiling fixture adds drama, while the floor lamp and table lamp provide soft, ambient glow that’s perfect for evening lounging.
